"Day 4 . Budapest. We first stopped at the Basilica St. Stephan in Pest. Beautiful building. Then back on the bus and across the Danube to Buda Castle. The Budapest Folk Festival was in full swing. It is like a big music and crafts show. The theme this year was embroidery and the featured country was Mongolia. Most of the vendors were Hungarian, though. You could spend all day wandering the stalls or listening to music groups. But we walked on up to St. Matthias Church for the beautiful views of Parliament. Found our way back to the bus and then back to Bratislava. People enjoyed sampling the local fare offered at the festival. We had a huge cheese pretzel. Scott also had some cherry cream soup at a restaurant patio up the hill - different from Stafford's but very yummy!"
