"We are back in Bratislava today. Concert and recording tonight. This is an outside wall of the Bratislava Castle. The first written history of this place was in 907 AD. We toured the castle today while we waited for our rooms to be available."

"Concert tonight was in this very interesting building. The hall has beautiful acoustics and is used for making recordings, including film scores."

"Day 10 - fabulous concert last night! But the day started with a bus ride back to Bratislava. Hot day! After we settled back into our hotel we went in search of a late lunch. Had the local specialty halusky again followed by a gelato. Then we actually rested for a while (!) before heading to the concert. This was in the radio station building which is completely soundproof and the stage was all set up for recording. The concert was fabulous! I took lots of videos but can't post any now - just heard we are heading out earlier than I thought. Pictures will be posted later!"

"More on Day 10 - I forgot to say that before we went to the hotel we went to Bratislava Castle! Saw beautiful views and toured through the castle. Some climbed up the tower but I skipped that. Beautiful staircase that was wide enough for horses to go up and down, even with a carriages. There was an exhibit of old advertising signs for various industries. And there were displays of little shops and things from olden times. On one wall there was a fireman's bike, complete with hose! There were also exhibits on the restoration of the castle and on archeological work in the area. Then on to the hotel.

I also forgot to mention that a few of us walked back from the concert and went out for a beer - I took a picture of the sign! That's all I can tell you......"
