Violin, viola, cello and string bass students of all ages and abilities participated in the Great Lakes
Chamber Orchestra’s fourth annual Day for Music workshop on Saturday, February 2, at Charlevoix High School.
Leading the workshop was Carlos Botero from Michigan State
University and Valerie Palmieri, conductor of the Adrian College orchestra. The day concluded with a performance
that was open to the public.
The Vision of the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra is that we will be "the Resident Chamber Orchestra of Northern Michigan that produces a sustainable, high-quality product that delights the community."
